Anna

I can't take it anymore. I don't want to do this anymore. Don't leave me.

How long has it been? How long have I been here? I don't know. Time is impossible to track with my eyes covered and mouth sealed. Well… I think they're closed, but maybe not. Have I always been able to not see? Maybe I can't talk either. I don't know.

It's cold, but not freezing anymore. Well, maybe it was never freezing. I don't remember when I was set down on the hard ground, but I am here. I'm tied to the floor and spread apart. It makes it easier for him—or them—to get me, not that it was difficult before.

I don't think so, at least. I don't know. Everything is just all swirly and dark and cold and painful.

I'm thirsty and I'm hungry. When did I eat last? Or even drink? Water sounds perfect, really refreshing and wonderful. I wonder if I can get a burger, or maybe just fries. Fries are good.

Oh, what about some iced tea? Maybe slightly sweet with a lot of ice.

It's so peaceful here without city sounds or loud people. There's just a weird rushing noise that always happens when I cover my ears, but even that's sort of dulled now.

When are they coming back? Are they coming back? Maybe they are done with me and will let me die now.

Oh, I can move my toe. That's good, right? I couldn't before. Well, I don't remember if I could.

Will they touch me again? It's nice to not be alone, even for a little while. They don't come as often anymore, and I don't know why. Did I do something wrong? Do they hate me now? I didn't mean it. I'll change, just stay with me. Don't leave me alone so much. I don't like it.

Ah, that's right. I think I made a promise to… to… oh, to not complain anymore, right? Right. I won't do that, so come back.

Please come back. I'm lonely.

Maybe they'll bring my alphas next time they visit. Wouldn't that be nice? I think it'd be very nice. It'd be a party or something. I've never thrown a party before, but I'm sure I would do a great job.

It's fine. It's dark and quiet and peaceful. Really quite nice, if a little lonely, but that’s okay. I won't complain. I'm keeping my promise.

Maybe they left because I was screaming. I was quiet, though. I'm pretty sure.

I was, yes. The thing over my mouth keeps me quiet the way they like. Maybe they could still hear me, but it hurt.
